IU school of informatics and computingAs a solution services firm based in the Midwest with Fortune 500 and mid-market business clients throughout the world, Blue Horseshoe’s on-going recruiting efforts and long term commitment to employees plays a vital role in the company’s success over the last decade.

On November 5th 2011, Blue Horseshoe celebrated their 10 year anniversary of providing expert management and strategy consulting, system design and implementation, and distribution design and optimization services. As part of our commitment to the community and our employees, Blue Horseshoe is proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 Indiana University Corporate Partners Program.

The program, launched by Indiana University’s School of Informatics and Computing, is designed to give corporations unique access to students and faculty at the school. Blue Horseshoe is one of nine local, national and international corporations that, through our participation in the program, have been able to offer over $50,000 in scholarship monies to about 50 students at the school this year.

Jeremy Podany, Director of Career Services at IU School of Informatics and Computing adds, “Our recruiting relationship with Blue Horseshoe Solutions has not only been a pleasure, but has also made a tremendously positive impact on our students. They are one of our top hirers, and the buzz that has spread about their company around the school is quite contagious. We are delighted to have them as our Corporate Partner Program.”

Since inception, Blue Horseshoe has looked to Indiana University’s School of Informatics and Computer Science as a valuable employment resource. Additional recruitment planning and participation in IU Career Fair’s was further developed and executed around 2006, and is on-going today.

“Throughout the years our company has been very fortunate to develop a wonderful relationship with the IU Career Services Department and their staff. Their staff is in tune with Blue Horseshoe and the type of individual we hope to hire. They continue to make Blue Horseshoe feel welcome in their school and appreciate our input as they continue to prepare students for careers after graduation”, explains Karen Cason of Blue Horseshoe.
